Marine Insurance Association of Seattle (MIAS)
Established in 1911, the purpose of the Marine Insurance Association of Seattle (MIAS), shall be to promote harmony, fellowship and good practice in the profession, the interchange of views, opinions and personal experience, the topics of interest to the profession and the consideration of such subjects as may be brought before the Association.
The San Diego Harbor Police Department is the premier police presence in San Diego Bay, the San Diego International Airport (also known as Lindbergh Field), and on all Tidelands around the bay. Our jurisdiction extends through the five member cities of the Port District, which include San Diego, Chula Vista, Coronado, Imperial Beach, and National City.

The San Diego Insurance Adjusters Association (SDIAA), founded in 1945, San Diego's oldest and largest professional claims organization. With over 300 members, our mission is to promote harmony and cordial business relations among the claims profession and those businesses associated with the insurance industry.
The Association of Marine Underwriters of San Francisco (AMUSF)
The Association of Marine Underwriters of San Francisco was established in 1885, in order to promote harmony, fellowship and professionalism in the Ocean Marine insurance industry, the discussion of topics of interest to the profession, and consideration of subjects as may be brought before The Association.
American Institute of Marine Underwriters (AIMU)
The American Institute of Marine Underwriters, established in 1898, is the trade association representing ocean marine insurers in the United States. Corporate members of AIMU insure or reinsure anything from yachts to drilling rigs, supertankers or containerships and the cargoes they carry, tugs and barges, and pollution, just to name a few.
The Propeller Club was founded in New York in 1927 by a group of businessmen to promote and strengthen the overseas trade with the United States, owing to the recession caused by the First World War.

Marine Underwriters of Southern California (MUSC)
Marine Underwriters of Southern California was founded primarily for education and fellowship in 1945. Members must be engaged in the production, underwriting or servicing of ocean and/or inland marine insurance. Our 150 members are employed throughout Southern California by insurance companies, agents and brokers, adjusters, surveyors, admiralty law firms and a variety of other related fields.
